A Multiobjective Optimization Framework for Strength and Stress Concentration in Variable Axial Composite Shells: A metaheuristic approach

A metaheuristic approach for variable axial composites considering multiobjective optimization is investigated. The proposed methodology based on the combination of three main parts: a defining orientation fibers in laminate, structural analysis program (based Finite Element Method) and an algorithm. It important to highlight that radial basis function (RBF), which describes smooth fiber pattern, generated using control points. novelties present consist proposal generalized parameterization technique, allows investigation mechanical strength stress concentration composites. Thus, NSGA-II genetic algorithm used as tool define orientations. Besides, ax situations when it desirable simultaneously minimize factor (Kt) failure criterion index (FI or Φ).
